I decided in March of this year to try and get my weight below 200 Lbs. I wanted to feel better and become more active with less weight on my joints. I tried various diet plans and now decided to try the new injections alongwith diet and exercise. Dr. Desai has a program for this so I joined. I am very pleased with Dr. Desai and her staff. They are knowledgeable and answered all questions. Each week we discussed my progress and Dr. Desai had many suggestions to optimize my weight loss. At present I am down 40 Lbs. and have been able to decrease some of my medications. More importantly I feel great and plan to continue to keep the weight off.

I have been through 4 spinal fusions. I have had 2 on my neck and 2 on my back. After 5 years of issues, I had gained over 100 pounds due to inactivity and poor eating habits. After the last surgery DR Desai spoke to me about losing weight. She explained how semaglutide worked. She also explained that it is not the only thing I needed to do. She explained that the food diary and exercise was more important. I followed the food diary and restricted myself to the calories she instructed. I also started an exercise routine - slow at first and more strenuous as time went on. DR Desai has been very caring and understanding through this process. She checks me often but will not take pity on me. I am so thankful for her honesty and her approach that you the patient must do your part. She is now my biggest supporter and when I feel like I am not losing large amounts of weight, DR Desai explained this is a journey and that plateaus happen. I am down 20- 25 pounds. I am thankful for the positive feedback I get from DR Desai and her team; I have been on her program for 3 months and extremely happy with my results.

Like many other women I have struggled with my weight for many years. I have tried multiple plans and became frustrated with the results. Dr. Desai stays positive and tells me how proud she is of my weight loss. Her encouragement helps me through the frustrating times. My new goal is to lose another 20 pounds. I believe I can reach my goal weight on the strength of the program and with the help from Dr. Desai and her staff. This is the first time I have ever written a testimonial that is how strongly I believe in Dr. Desai, her staff and the program.

Over the years, I have tried many diets with limited success. My weight contributed to various health issues and I knew that loosing weight would have a positive result on those issues. When I spoke with Dr. Desai, she recommended semiglutide injections. Following her directions along with the shots, I lost 40 lbs in six months. Maintenance isn't always easy when you begin to fall back into old eating habits as I found out when I regained 14 lbs. I resumed the injections again and relieved to loose the weight I had regained. I found Dr. Desai's weekly monitoring a comfort as she was always aware of any changes in my vital measurements that could be detriment to my health. The effects of my weight loss caused a reduction in my blood pressure medication and a considerable ease of my knee pain.
